Anurag Basu is an Indian film director and writer, known for directing films which tackle themes of dark passion and adultery [1] like Life in a... Metro, Gangster and Murder. Now he is planning a biopic on the late singer Kishore Kumar and for this project he has signed Ranbir Kapoor to play the character of Kishore Kumar and Katrina play the character of Madubala in the movie.
Katrina has already started looking Classics of Madubala like Half Ticket, Jhumroo, Mughal-e-Azam, Kalapani, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi etc to bring in the perfection in her character. The makers are planning to recreate the magic of the song ‘ Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si’ which was picturised on Kishore Kumar and Madhubala in the film Chalti Ka Naam Gadi.
